Introducing The Metrix Blog
The new Metrix Blog will be written by a team of Metrix employees and will cover the service industry, software and technology.
Here at Metrix, we like to consider ourselves pretty knowledgeable about the service industry. And we should be - we’ve been in the business for over 25 years. Now we’d like to give a little back by sharing our knowledge on the new Metrix Blog, which you can view here: http://www.metrix.com/blog. Not sure what a blog is? Check out Wikipedia’s definition here.
Our blog will be written by a team of Metrix employees, including our president and founder, Larry Laux. The blog will cover topics ranging from service management to software and technology to Metrix announcements. It will be updated with new posts at least weekly (and at times more often) and readers will have the opportunity to leave comments on our blog posts as well as subscribe to RSS feeds. We are hoping that the blog will give readers the opportunity to see Metrix not just as a software company, but as a group of experts dedicated to creating and supporting advanced service management software.
Speaking of experts, the first members of the Metrix Blog team will be:
- Larry Laux, president and founder
- Vern Hockerman, director of pre-sales
- Christine LaVoi, director of professional services
- Tom DeVroy, vice president of sales and marketing
These members were selected for their expertise with our software and for their experience and expertise in the service management industry. We hope that their exposure to different functions of the company, along with their personalities, will help the blog “come alive” and show a side of Metrix that only those within our walls have seen before.
As Metrix moves forward in our blogging adventure, there is the possibility of adding new members to our team and bringing in guest bloggers from partners, industry analysts and other service industry experts.
