Award Winning eService Application Suite for Product Service and Integrated Field Service Products Increase Software License Revenues from New and Existing Clients Waukesha, WI — February 5, 2001 — Executives at Metrix, Inc. (www.metrix.com) have reason to be optimistic as the new year begins. License revenue increased steadily throughout 2000, peaking in Q4. Metrix eService and mobile solutions have en successfully implemented at multiple locations for world-class product service organizations throughout North America and Europe. "2000 was a great year for us," said Greg Brown, COO of Metrix, Inc. "The simultaneous releases of Metrix 4e, our eService application suite and Techlink 4e, our integrated mobile solutions product family, was a catalyst for a tremendous year end, with nearly a dozen new clients purchasing licenses in the second half of the year (license and service revenue from existing clients also saw an increase). Our Q4 results showed a 40% growth over Q3, and we have every reason to believe that will continue into the new year. We saw particular strength in the medical equipment, high-tech, and telecommunications industries, with new wins including Nucletron, STERIS Corporation, Synthes, and Cox Enterprises." Metrix recognized Getronics Canada and Ericsson as both organizations captured honors for leveraging Metrix solutions in eService, with the awards presented at the 12th annual Metrix Client Conference. Additionally, Xerox Office Printing Business, a long-standing Metrix client, was a recipient of the CIO magazine CIO Award for Excellence in Customer Service and Support. Metrix established a new alliance and partner program midway through the year 2000.
