VideoTele.com, Inc. Selects Metrix 4e for eProductService™

Company to manage 3rd party service resources with web-based service automation software from Metrix

Waukesha, Wis. — April 23, 2001 — Metrix, Inc. (www.metrix.com) announced today that Lake Oswego, OR based VideoTele.com, Inc. (VideoTele.com) has selected the web-based Metrix 4e application suite to automate VideoTele.com's customer support environment. VideoTele.com is a premier provider of products and technologies that enable the delivery of media over broadband Internet (www.videotele.com).

"VideoTele.com purchased our entire suite of applications, including contact center, contracts and warranties, repair center and inventory & logistics modules, to enable them to better manage their 3rd party service and support efforts," said Harvey Shovers, vice president of sales and marketing for Metrix.

"Metrix 4e provides the functionality VideoTele.com required in the areas of contracts and warranties, and met their requirement of integration with Oracle Financials. Additionally, as part of their eBusiness initiative, the Metrix 4e application suite will enable them to move to an Internet-based, customer self-service model within the upcoming months."

Metrix was also able to meet the guidelines identified by VideoTele.com for implementation.

"By utilizing Metrix R.I.M. (Metrix Rapid Implementation Methodology), we expect the implementation to take about seven weeks," said Vern Hockerman, director of presales. "That will include on-site consulting and business analysis, as well as complete implementation, integration to Oracle applications, and testing of the software. We have utilized this model before with great success, and feel that in VideoTele.com's case, it was an ideal solution."
