METRIX EXTENDS SERVICE AUTOMATION SOFTWARE SUITE WITH BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & ENTERPRISE REPORTING

Waukesha, Wis — March 4, 2003 — Metrix, Inc., a leader in service automation announces the availability of Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Reporting software for Metrix 4e from B*Smart Intelligent Solutions, Inc. The package is a new Metrix 4e module delivering real-time, out-of-the-box, business performance management and reporting for the Metrix eProductServicetm application suite, leveraging industry leading technology from Business Objects and delivered by B*Smart Intelligent Solutions, Inc.

End-users have the ability to use this module’s dashboards, queries and reports to actively analyze and manage business functions supported by the Metrix eProductService solution, such as contract sales volume, customer satisfaction levels, contract profitability & renewal rates, service resolution levels, service call volumes and more. In addition, service professionals and executive management can easily create their own queries/reports and transparently create intelligent data cubes for ongoing ad-hoc business analysis. They can present the data how they want with a myriad of presentation and media options such as charts and graphs, all offering drill-downs and slicing-and-dicing. Customers can also choose a mix of deployment methods, which include the web, the desktop or via PDA. The features are significant such as user-defined alerts that provide notification when the defined threshold is reached.
