Metrix 4e Product Service Application Suite Gains Momentum in the United Kingdom Waukesha, Wis. (Monday, March 31, 2003) -- Metrix, Inc. (www.metrix.com.), an international leader in product service automation software, announces that its exclusive UK distributor, Prolog Systems Limited (www.prologsystems.com.), is achieving wins throughout the United Kingdom with Metrix's eProductService(tm) applications suite. Prolog Systems' new project wins in 2002 and Q1 2003 utilizing Metrix's product service software include:
o Planned Maintenance Engineering (PME), one of the UK's leading Building Services and FM Companies is implementing Metrix on a national basis across 13 branches and 700 engineers. The solution includes call centre, purchasing, contracts, field service, inventory & logistics. The solution and its graphical scheduling is fully integrated with Cognito's GSM / GPRS Mobile Data Service reflecting updates and job status changes from Field Technicians as they are input on a range of PDA devices suited to engineering role. The solution is also integrated with the Dream Financial System
o Cubic Transportation Systems Limited, the world's largest supplier of integrated ticketing and automated fare collection systems, which has purchased and has implemented the Metrix 4 service management application. The order covers all of Metrix's eProductService modules, including: call centre, contracts, maintenance, field service, repair, and inventory & logistics.
o Deutz UK Limited, (World leaders in the development, production and sale of liquid- and air-cooled high-speed diesel and gas engines of 4 to 4000 kW, used in Construction, Compressors, Automotive, Agriculture, Gensets, Welders, Pumps, etc), have chosen an integrated Metrix application and Mobile Data Solution incorporating the latest Forms Plus technology from Prolog. The solution is integrated with an AS400 financials solution.
o Imagistics, which has purchased an enterprise-wide solution consisting of Metrix 4 service management software and Sage Enterprise Financials. Imagistics is a leading supplier of document imaging solutions including high performance, leading edge copiers, multifunctional products and facsimile machines to the UK corporate market.
o Ferroli Limited, the UK division of the Ferroli Group, has selected a Metrix application to manage its field service and repair center operations. Ferroli is one of the world's largest manufacturers of heating appliances. The solution is integrated with Mobile Data from the Orange Network.
o SG Maintenance Services, which has chosen a Metrix application & Mobile Data Solution for 50 users. S.G.Maintenance Services Ltd (sgms) is a dynamic UK Company specialising in all aspects of Building Maintenance. The core business covers the maintenance of M&E, Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems in offices, shops, factories and numerous Ministry of Defence bases. Contracts range from the servicing of commercial heating systems through to all the M&E systems in virtually any type of building to an entire Ministry of Defence base.
